Great shot. Can you help me. I guess you have used F2.8 aperture to get enough light to expose using a fast shutter. I am trying similar strategy to get properly exposed low light sporting shot. What metering did you use. You must of focused dead on to get the shot so well in focus. Cheers

I actually don't meter, I just shoot in manual mode and have shot in so many arenas I just guess my settings and take some test shots to see how close I am.  Being at 2.8 does make it more challenging to get things in focus with such a small margin in error, but It comes down to shutter speed and knowing how much or little to pan.  If you want to shoot a little slower so you see the wheels spinning or a bit faster to freeze motion. When being indoors your limited on your shutter speed by your cameras high iso capability's.
